Parakee is a user-friendly platform that allows social influencers to monetize their time by offering pay-per-minute video calls to their biggest fans.
To become a host, simply create a free Parakee host account. As a host, you can set your per-minute rate and specify your availability for calls.
You can market your availability easily by sharing your unique meeting link across any social media platforms. This way, your followers can know when they can schedule a call with you.
Once a call is scheduled, you will receive a calendar invite, and a new call entry will be created within your Parakee account, informing you of the upcoming interaction.
To join a scheduled call, you can either log into your Parakee account and click on the call or simply click on the link provided in the calendar invite that you received.
Payments on Parakee are processed through Stripe. After a call is completed, hosts are paid based on the actual time spent on the call. If you join a call late, you will be paid only for the time you were present on the call.
Yes, as a host on Parakee, you have the flexibility to set your own pay rate. However, it’s important to set a reasonable rate to ensure a higher chance of getting booked. Overpricing might lead to fewer bookings.
While setting your pay rate, remember that if you set it too high, it might discourage potential bookings. Try to find a balance that reflects your influence and the demand, without overpricing yourself which might result in fewer bookings.
